Our Mission

The mission of WSWN is to build a community where individuals feel supported to bring their whole selves to a safe creative space. Here we share our experiences of both industry and practice, discuss a variety of audio topics, and participate in sound related group activities.

 

Let’s move the creative sector of Wakefield forward, and bring about more visibility for women and people of gender minority in the audio industry. As this group grows the mission will expand and my hope is that this space will be a reminder to all women and people of gender minority, that you are not alone.
